Bishop Michael T. Martin: The Bride at Every Wedding

…And the Corpse at Every Funeral

Leo Go Lightly is an Augustinian friar in a Neo-Jesuit mold. Bishop (and I use the term ‘lightly’) Michael T. Martin, O. F. M. of Charlotte is a Franciscan friar in the same mold: anti-social, Anti-Catholic, and from an equally corrupt, sodomfolk-riddled order as the modern Augustinians and Jesuits.

You will recall that Francis/Leo made this prelate hardly a year ago. With a year on the job H. M. Martin has decreed in imperial fashion — effective date October 2, 2025 A. D. — the death of the Latin Mass throughout his diocese (including several Mission churches) and particularly at the four vibrant parishes in Charlotte where it has peaceably coexisted with the Novus Ordo liturgy for the past decade. Despite the pleas of the four pastors, and of the entire flock, he has stoppered his ears.

If he ever listens to anyone, which I doubt, and as the four pastors whose pleas have fallen on ears deaf and stupid, most recently last Thursday, can affirm. The man is an egomaniac and a tyrant.

Nor is killing the Latin Mass the limit of his mad decrees. For example, this coming Saturday is the Eucharistic Congress established by his predecessor of venerable memory, His Excellency Peter Jugis, who made the mistake of retiring because he couldn’t travel due to illness, and leaving his flock to this lupine disaster. Swish Martin has decreed the cancellation of all First Saturday Masses to force ALL the people to attend what has become in his hands the stupid Congress — which does not even include a Mass on Saturday for the Day, just a sole Vigil Mass at 5:30 p.m. for the Sunday.

Are we in North Korea, or North Carolina here?

Only a true control freak would seek to ban people from attending an 8:00 a.m. Mass on the Saturday morning — which doesn’t compete at all with the event or with the Novus Ordo liturgy in the evening, where the Emperor and Ego will preside on stage just as advertised throughout the City per advance press. Oh Joy! Oh Happy Day!

Like most modern Novus Ordo prelates, he thinks he’s a rock star, a la McCarrick, and that it’s grand that he highlights the Vigil Mass — whereas most stalwart Novus Ordo parishioners would be happy if he stayed home.

But Bishop Martin has to be “the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral.” It is just the modern American Bishopric Way. That’s another likely reason he hates the T. L. M. — he can’t convert it as he can the Novus Ordo Geraldo Mass into being all about . . . him, of course, the Presider.

Does he hate the Faith and Our Lady that much that he would contradict and subvert her stated desire for Catholics to observe the First Saturday devotions, in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart?

I doubt Swish, I mean Bish, Martin brooks dissent. There is not a priest in the diocese to man up to him on this or any other issue at all. Shameful.

I recently quoted the Bard, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” except for the modern lavender cleric. I have no doubt he’d exile them. But they have to answer to a higher authority. The standard of schism is not Francis or Leo — the standard of schism is the One True Faith and Christ, its Author, Who said, “Feed My sheep.”

Banishing the First Saturday Mass — just like forever exiling the Old Latin Mass — just goes to show that ole Swish Martin is a micro-managing tyrant with a molten hate of all things Catholic, truly in the Bergoglian mold.

The Bishopric is the gifted Horse’s Petoot that just keeps giving. His plans were so over the top micro-managing even of any traditional vestige in the Novus Ordo Mass that Pope Leo (as Riggitano Prevost then chief Swishop-Maker) told him to ratchet it down a notch or too last April when the quisling went to Rome to check in with the Bergolglian-Leonine Politburo. And no (Riggitano-Prevost told him), you egomaniac, you cannot move the See of Charlotte to Huntersville and the richest parish in the State, up at St Mark’s Church, but ten miles outside of the city limits.

But yes, the Swishop — because he’s too proud to tolerate a Latin Mass in an actual parish in his diocese — can throw away 3/4 of a million dollars — yes $750,000 on the fool’s errand of converting a Protestant Barn 45 miles outside downtown Charlotte into something suitable for the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Convenient to throw all them Trads into one pen, a Latin Mass Ghetto, no doubt. Equally downright magnanimous of the Swish to graciously allow the sheep to graze at all somewhere — for a time — albeit wrenched from their home parishes and with the absurd conditions that they may not give money to the New Latin Ghetto, must tithe only to their own parish — where you just deprived them of the Old Latin Mass — and they similarly may not receive any Sacraments there or in the Old Rite, but again must resort to the parishes he drove them from.

Today it is reported that the Emperor Swish Martin has also decreed — or is soon to decree — that high-schoolers in his diocese can no longer kneel at the reception of Holy Communion, a ploy he tried but failed to force on the entire diocese last May. In addition, the Emp mandates that students serve as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion; and, doubtless to increase that reverent and devout atmosphere so becoming to his Lordship’s worship and the Novus Ordo in general, that projector and screens are to be installed in the high school chapels to “facilitate” singing [dumb St. Louis Jesuit] hymns as well as such lengthier parts of the Mass as the Gloria and the Credo.

Finally, to round out the cringe — in which Swish Martin seems to hold an advanced degree — at large Eucharists, the Emperor decrees that a student should give a “testimonial about their faith life” between the final prayer and the blessing and dismissal. This will prevent the sin on the off-chance that anyone was making or would wish to make a Communion offering, giving thanks for the inestimable and infinite gift of having just received Our Lord the Triune Godhead.

“Anything, that they may not PRAY!” quoth the man behind the curtain.

Gloria-TV notes that: “Bishop Martin is internationally known for abolishing Masses in the Roman rite, as well as for his failed attempt to introduce liturgical norms that were full of absurdities and illegalities. These were dropped in May after the leaked document went viral.”

He is not internationally famous enough. And infamous is the word. May news of his infamous murder of the Old Latin Mass spread far and wide, even to Rome. Not that I think that will do much good. But it is at present the only chance — humanly speaking — of reining in this barbarian, and saving the Old Latin Mass in Charlotte before the guillotine falls in October 2, 2024, A. D.

May this bishop be stopped, sooner rather than later.

And make no bones about it, this is a Come to Jesus Moment for Leo.

If Leo permits this to occur, the world will have yet more public confirmation of his hatred of the Faith— just like his mentor, rabbi, and maker, Bergoglio had.

Bergoglio with Christ Under his feet; Bergoglio with typical gaze of hatred at Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament; Bergoglio Manifesting with a Stang — a Satan-Stick, in short.

With James Martin, like Francis Leo has already confirmed how enamored, gay-friendly, and Sodom-First he his.

Such hatred of the Old Latin Mass can only be driven by hatred of the Faith. Such hatred is frequently found deep in the heart of members of the clerical lavender mafia of which both the emperor and the Leo are members. See for example the report of Fr.
